The Tiki Microphone from Blue Microphone is a USB mic that offers two different recording modes. Intelligent Speech Mode has the ability to isolate desirable sounds like voices so that it can minimize background noises like typing, computer fans, etc. It can even mute the mic if needed. This feature improves vocal clarity for online communication like Skype, iChat, and voice recognition software. With a push of a button, you can toggle into the Natural Recording Mode, which is best used for capturing vocals or music like a guitar with little extra processing like the Intelligent Speech Mode’s noise cancellation. The Tiki is priced at $59.99 and is available now through BestBuy.com, but will be available through other online retailers starting July 15.
